Gray Syntactic Foam is one of the Modern Materials that has brought bow building into the 21st Century. Foam has been used in Target archery for decades and is now finding its way into Field and Hunting Archery equipment. Syntactic foam is a composite material synthesized by filling a matrix with hollow particles called microballons. The presence of hollow particles results in lower density, higher specific strength, lower thermal expansion.
This material offers the work ability of wood with the dimensional stability of metal. Syntactic Foam permits overall weight reduction which makes it ideal for lighter physical weight, but stronger performing limbs.
This incredible, truly neutral limb core will enhance the performance and versatility of your next bow project!
Note: OMC Precision Ground Laminations are accurately ground tip-to-tail and side-to-side the entire length.
